Baseline monitoring is a prerequisite for monitoring and control activities, i.e. the precise assessment and recording of the baseline condition, against which changes can be measured.

Surface water and groundwater sampling and testing:

Sampling sites:

Surface water: on 4 sections of the Tócó

Groundwater: from monitoring wells at 16 complex monitoring stations.

Sampling and testing period: 24.09.2024 - 09.01.2025.

Soil sampling and testing:

Sampling locations: from 3 depth intervals at the 16 complex monitoring station sites of the KER

Sampling period: 14.01.2025 - 27.02.2025.

Ambient air quality measurements:

Measuring occasions: 3 sites, 4 times per site in total as required by law, 2-2 times in heating and non-heating season, 1 measurement lasts 14 days.

Sampling period: 15.01.2025 - 10.12.2025.
